Pink Wookie!
Hello again. It seems that following a bout of persuading by my housemates and some other people I determined that some people did actually read my blog and even more surprising they were asking me to do it again after chocolatestarfish.co.uk expired (who knows why it’s still active though…it should dissappear pretty soon).
So here is the new blog – A Needle in a Haystack complete with a new design provided by the good Ian Main and perhaps more importantly, the domain name – pinkwookie.co.uk which I actually bought (yes with money). I guess I’m a bit less ‘wet behind the ears’ writing my first blog post than a few months ago, but I don’t think you can actually learn how to make your boring life or rants about the local cinema remotely interesting! As for the domain name, I can’t remember why I came up with it, I think it may have been after seeing the new craze of girls shoes that are sort of boots covered in fur. Upon seeing these for the first time I remarked that from the boot down they looked remarkebley like wookies, and then I went on wondering what a female wookie looks like and perhaps they had pink fur, like some of the girls boots (A perfectly normal thing to think about, I’m sure). Go read that Wikipedia article, it’s quite interesting, not only reckoning that wookie is spelled with an extra ‘e’ (Wikipedia could’ve contacted me and told me that before I spend money on a new domain name grr!) but also apparently female wookie(e)s have 6 breasts, yes that’s 6 breasts!! That’s weird stuff! My thoughts of female wookies have been permanently warped. Anyway enough about strange Star Wars references, the domain name however mispelled it is, is here. I did however get a strange feeling of regret just after I bought it, a feeling of ‘oh god, what have i done?!’ but anyway…The kind Geffy has set up a redirect so that any people going to my old blog will come here, but please update your links, bookmarks, rss feeds etc. because I’m sure the old domain name won’t be there for much longer. I’ll be doing up a main site area this time around, probably complete with dubious code, useless information about me and some artwork that I’ll get a fellow artist to do about a female wookie (though possibly without 6 breasts).
