The Horse Person
People are weird…
Today I received another text from a long line of weird ones from the same number. It started last year when I got one saying something like “Hey John, just brushed Lulu and she’s looking great!” Puzzled, I replied saying they’d got the wrong number as I’m not called John and don’t know a Lulu and thought nothing of it…until I got one back saying “Silly, Lulu is your horse!” Can people not read or admit they’ve made a mistake?! Anyway I ran out of credit so it wasn’t in my power to argue my point. So a couple of months later I get another horse-related text message to which I still replied they had the wrong person. As you can tell, it doesn’t seem to be getting through to this person. Which brings us to today, I’m delighted to hear that Lulu is looking great for the showjumping tomorrow!! I’m past trying to explain myself now, can’t be bothered to ring whoever it is and I want to make a public apology to John (at least until the fool on the other end realises his/her error) for not hearing about his horse!
Of course I’ll update everyone with news of Lulu as and when I hear about her!
