Looks like yoghurt, tastes like yoghurt, but it isn't yoghurt

Hello world!

Well it was inevitable, like a moth to a flame, a lemming to a cliff, or a Matt to a beer I have finally been drawn in to the blogging community. I haven’t even finished my opening gambit on here and I’ve already noticed that this has been linked to by Matt’s site, thanks for that! I guess all I need now is for something exciting to happen to write about!

Well today amongst other mundane things, I received a dvd from my housemate Tom. Being a bit of a film boff, I usually know or have heard about if I receive it as a gift. This one SOMEHOW missed my film radar and I don’t know how: “Sleepover”, is apparently “A hilarious, super-sassy flick” -It’s hot and “…like Mean Girls but set over one night” -Mizz. For those reading this that don’t know the most probable reason for receiving this odd choice in video, I shall now enlighten you. I work at the cinema in the summer holidays and on a fateful day last year I started a lunchbreak and as a way of passing the time rather than sitting in the rather boring staff room, as usual I looked at the films on offer. I chose Mean Girls as the time-filler and was pleasantly surprised with the humour and the ‘talent’ on screen. I was unpleasantly surprised to come out and be jokingly called a peadophile by my colleagues! Psh! Just because I was the only guy in there watching the film! It was a way of passing the time I tell you! Anyway, when I related the story to my housemates (before we ALL watched the film on DVD!) of course they thought it was highly amusing! Which is why I found myself holding a bright pink cased DVD today!

Anyway to cut a long blog entry short (or not as the case may be) I believe a Battlefield 2 game is imminent, so until next time.
